I take full credit for making this Tutorial.
Cashie here making a complete tutorial on how to jailbreak your ipod/iphone.
I refer to the home button and the power button quite a bit. The Power button is located on top of the device (Used to power device on and off) . The Home button is the round button at the front of your device. This is also an untethered Jailbreak which means that it can be turned on and off like a normal device.
First of all you want to check which firmware you have to do this :
1. Go to settings on your idevice

2. Select the General tab

3. Select the About tab
4. Then you want to scroll down to Version.
5. Next to version it should say a number eg. 4.2.1
6. This is your firmware number.
7. You have two options the first is to update using itunes to get above version 4.1 which is recquired to jailbreak.
8. If your version is higher than 4.1 then youre free to continue to continue onto the next step. If not keep reading.
9. If your version is below that you must connect to itunes with an active internet connection and click on this button
Now that we have sorted that our firmware can be jailbroken this is what you want to do
Download this programs to help with Jailbreaking.

You must choose the correct firmware you are running and also your operating system eg. Windows/Mac.
Once you have your device connected to the computer you must put the device into DFU mode. This may take a couple of times to get correct.
1. Turn the device off
2. Press the home and power button for 10 seconds
3. Let go of the power button but continue to hold the home button.
4. Now if you have done it correctly the bottom right hand corner should appear a dialogue box saying device driver installed properly.
5. Once in DFU mode you can install the jailbreak. (Should Look like this in iTunes)

6. What you want to do is open up Greenpois0n and select NO when it asks whether it is an Apple Tv.

7. Once no is selected press Jailbreak.
8. Now your idevice should now be booting up.
9. After a few seconds a black screen should come up on the idevice with a whole heap of writing scrolling down the screen.
10. Let it complete the jailbreak process which is shon on the computer screen with a progress bar.
11. Once jailbroken there are endless possibilities but you first need to select the Loader app which should be on the second slide page. Install Cydia from that.
12. You must have an active internet connection for this to work.
