i usually find games no problem, but i went through and forwarded my ports so i have an open nat always, but i have to do the test connection EVERY time i turn the xbox on to connect to live, so that part kinda sucks, and i haven't found any solutions, but it always connects, so i dun know.

Another suggestion is your NAT type, It'll need to be Open to enable better play, But I'm not sure if this matters.

doesnt look too good but its not that i cant play, its just that i can join when i search alone, its messed up.

and whoever suggested other playlist, ive tried ever playlist and its all the same. and my NAT is open, its never been moderate or strict, so i have no clue whats goin on.

Another question, Is it that It won't find a game at all, Or is it you can eventually join a match, Is the connection good in the game?

i am wireless, modem is upstairs. and when i join a game or go in with friends the connection is fine. only thing is when the party leader chooses a playlist, i am the last to enter the room (the searching room if that makes sense). but thats the only part of lag i see, except for the fact that on this connections i cant join half of my friends, where as i can on my connection back at my appartment.

Oh right I see, Well it's unusual that you can get good game play at your appartment, But unfortunate that you can't where you are now, It seems it's a problem with either the ISP at your current location, Or a hardware problem, Because obviously something is preventing you from joining games, Sorry be no much help, But I'm stumped for solutions atm o.O

u get a better connect with a cord then wireless adapter, and when your nat type is open it allows anyone to join, we jsut got a wireless router and now some people cant join mine cuz its set-up under moderate

There's is open, So I don't see what the problem could be :

My connection hit's these speeds [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] and yet still my connection is sometimes bad, I reckon it's something to do with the host, Sometimes it picks the worst hosts in the world, and it lags me out.

damn ive read where people have had the same problem but still no fixes yet. its sucks cause i have to wait for friends to get on before i can play.
