There are probably millions of different galaxies beyond ours which we will never reach with other lifeforms on it. When people think of space the often only think of our galaxy not the fact that space does go on after we exit our galaxy and there is a possibility of other galaxies having lifeforms, however it will be hundreds if not thousands of years before we have the technology to explore them. Maybe they are planets hundreds of times more advanced than us on their way over to explore our galaxy, we don't know.
