Okay, so first of all this is a personal story which I am posting on TTG because this is the only site that people answer fast and honestly.
So basically I'm thinking things that I shouldn't be thinking.
Months ago, about 5 or 6 to be precise, my parents got a divorce. I don't know the exact reason why they got divorced. Weeks later after the divorce, like 1 or 2, my mom started hanging out with this dude. She said he was her "friend". Then one day we were with my dad and he mentioned an out of the blue comment. He said that he thinks my mom cheated on him during their marriage. I got mad with my dad for saying that but he had some sense. My mom got out of a 16 year old marriage and 1-2 weeks later she has a new mate? They have been dating for these 5 months now.
So it really bothers me at night and I start thinking that maybe my mom DID cheat on my dad. The reasons my mom told me they divorced were for economic reasons and or personal problems. But maybe she just used these economic issues as a disguise to dump my dad in order for her to go with the man she has been having an affair with.
It really makes me sad inside, and I dont know how to approach my mom to talk about this because even though she still might say she didnt cheat I wouldnt believe her, I dont know why. I have a feeling that she did.
What do you guys think?

Parents lie....
Same with mine, my dad told me it was because of economic problems, but my mom told me my dad cheated on her....I trust my mom

You have a point, is your mom the type of person to do that, try going through her phone and just see what they talk about, if its perverted stuff than, she deffinately cheated. Idk its up to you man
