Alright, lets start this rant off by saying this happens all to often! Hence why I'm writing a rant about it.
Every so often on The Tech Game, someone will graciously present us with a post that they truly put work into that would actually contribute to helping the community, and through hard work and determination they truly deserved to hit that "Post Thread" button. However all too often are the pushed down into the dead zone where no one can see them, where the receive no views for the sole reason that someone makes a topic on General knowledge and that one person receives a million replies stating the same thing. For example "When is the gears of war 3 release?" which received 40+ replies all stating "It comes out September 20th" Now normally, this wouldn't bother me as much as it does now, yes I agree it's a terrible way to kill a great post but I thought to myself "It's not my problem, I don't have to deal with it all that often". That is until I had written a tutorial on License Transfering that I had been planning to write out for the past couple of days. I included pictures, detailed explanations, FAQ, everything needed to ensure that someone could do this by themselves with minimum trouble. Finally it was finished, and after checking my structure, I hit the submit button and sure enough a hour later it was pushed into the 3rd page and was left to die in obscurity, It's a License Transfer! people ask questions about it all the time! So in the end I only ask the following, Please TTG for the love of all that is good, give credit where credit is due, thank those kind patrons who purposely go out of their way to help you and above all, do your best to keep it alive and spread the word to others, because I for one am sick of seeing "You're a noob GTFO" posted 300 times in the same topic.

I agree with this.
I've learned not to post anything in the General Discussion, it is filled with spam and , "liek, wats ur favrit colore!? " topics, etc.
