I am currently doing a 12v fan mod for an old falcon I am going to sell. Which method do you guys recommened?
Method one: Getting the 12v powersupply by using an old phone charger
Pros: Doesnt take power from mobo causing less strees
Cons: Adds another plug and looks kinda stupid
Method 2: Taking the 12v powersupply from the DvD drive
Pro: Not noticeable at all and overall looks better
Cons: Causes more stress on the board and makes the board hotter so it makes fans less effective
I really dont know which one to do. Help?

neither, like he said ^, use the 12v under the power supply connector, much easier.
