Minimod:

A normal forum poster that takes it upon themselves to push forum rules and tell everybody how to conduct themselves instead of leaving it up to the mods. Typically reserved for people that don't know what they're talking about, act like they have some kind of authority, and/or are obviously doing what they're doing to try to score points with the real mods and become moderators themselves. (especially if it becomes a regular thing for them and/or they don't contribute much good to the community otherwise)

If you read the quoted text above then hopefully now you comprehend the definition of "Minimod". Stating the rules to someone falls under minimodding, we're here to contribute, discuss and share not keep the order within the forums. Moderators are here to make sure each members conduct follows the board rules, not us. So i can't really see your point of view.

Anyway, agreed with your rant SonicZ. I don't understand why members can't just refrain from posting "GTFO, REPORTED 202020, CLOSE THIS" etc when hitting the report button is not only the proper way to help out but also quicker and much easier. If people reported instead of posting the forums would be much cleaner and less topics wouldn't get knocked off the recent threads feed. Idiots.
