my iphone fell in the toilet so i did the rice trick and it worked and everything for like 30 mins and it just turned off and it wont restart or anything i try to connect to itunes and restore but it gives me error

Power off the device and let it sit for 3 days. If you want to let the water out you can try wrapping your iPhone in a cloth, and putting it in the freezer, for short periods of time. 10-15 mins.

If you are having problems restoring, try putting it into recovery mode, and then restore it.
