So on my HDD I found this account that ive never used because I recieved the HDD from a friend...long story..but anyway I click sign in xbl just seein what will happen. So i sign in and everything works fine.. But then I go to change the XBL name and successfully change it, I shut off the xbox and turn it back on and says that my account needed to be recovered..

so what can i do to recover the account?

If u know the info to the account then just go to recover gamertag

You are screwed man you need to get the email and password but what you could do is contact microsoft and tell them that you have forgot the email and password

Very Easy Just Put The Profile In Modio Or Horizon And Change The Ids To Your Xbox Id And It Will Work !

basically it was like moddin a gamer-tag and must of bin a data couruption

Nope like i said i just got this account from a guy that i will never see again (craigslist ROFL) like a few months ago and just so happen to go online with it today and change the GT and this comes up and basically no way to gather any info
