never buy a transfer cable from microsoft well if u want i have heard rumors that when u buy it they can track u down if u mod sumthing and right away they will ban u after times u have modded with it the best place 2 buy it is in amazon.com

Main concerns are, USB is small, and portable. While being easy to bring around with you (to a friend's house, or whatev) it has a limited amount of space(unless you're like me. I have a 16GB)
A HDD has to be removed every time you use it, which will only increase the chances of breaking it (they break easy) but, you can make a copy of your whole HDD very easily. You also wont have to move files from one device to the other, which gets annoying when doing multiple things at once.
Personally, with a big USB, I would stick with it. If you're trying to do bigger things, upgrade the USB, or do the cable. ALSO the transfer cable breaks VERY easily.

transfer cable is much easier to use , just pluggs straight into ure HD

because USB's just became available for xbox so that's why people used to use transfer cable.

Sorry for the double post, but anyone who saw this and flipped out, his quote is total random nonsense. You hardly get banned for software mods (other than Gscore mods) and buying a cable wouldnt increase your chances by any means.

In my opinion I find transger Cable Quicker and Easier but It really dosent matter, if you do decide to get a transfer cable from microsoft they can track you, just get from ebay.
