JTAG-Hacks wrote So revision isnt like a problem or something with the xbox?no its just the type of motherboard it has. The xenon was the first motherboard made the jasper was the most recent phat xbox. (not the slim one that was released last year) The big block means that it has 256mb of internal memory.

Jasper is the codename for an Xbox 360 motherboard revision. It is the last revision to be hackable by the SMC hack. It is less susceptible to the RRoD than all of the other models before it. Introduced in 2008, it was followed shortly by "big block" revisions, which means that it has either a 256mb or 512mb internal MU.
It was succeeded by the "S" (Slim) model, codenamed Valhalla/Trinity.
Which will eventually be succeeded by Corona.

This.
Though most users posting a for sale item/thread would usually just list the type of Jasper it is (NOMU, 256, 512) rather than posting it as a "revision".
