With The Aether Mod , When I Checked Erliar It Uses From 600,000 - 1,000,000 Memory Up (CTRL+ALT+DEL) Bring Up Task Manager Look At Javaw.exe That's your Minecraft And Look How Much Memory It Uses.

Thats not just the aether mod, thats also minecraft and minecraft uses around 340000 on normal priority.
If you want it to lag less change the priority of javaw.exe to high, it worked for me.

I have tried every possible way to fix the lag but it never works, and it seems the that it only lags when im in the aether on a difficulty higher than peaceful. Buuuut it does not lag when i'm in the normal ol minecraft........ At ALL. my ram is 3Gigs and i made minecraft run at 1Gigs (witch helped a LOT. but for some reason when i get back to the aether i lag all over again. and yes i set my javaw.exe on high priority, but still didnt fix it. YES i closed every unnecessary program. maybe the mod has a bug?
