A computer game fanatic died from a blood clot after playing on his Xbox console for up to 12 hours at a time.
A postmortem revealed Chris Staniforth, 20, had deep vein thrombosis, which is caused by sitting in the same position for long periods.
Dad David, from Sheffield, said: "He lived for his Xbox.
"You think computer boxes are safe, but you never know what's happening in your children's bedrooms.
"You never dream that this could happen. Children across the country are playing with their computers not realising they can be as dangerous as this."
A coroner yesterday confirmed DVT had caused Chris's death and it was cited on his death certificate.
He had no history of ill health or any underlying medical conditions.
A spokesman for Xbox said yesterday they recommend gamers "take breaks to exercise as well as make time for other pursuits".

If you read the article it says he was just playing Xbox for hours straight with no food or water so that was part of the reason why, and the clot was in his legs, but im sure we all get abit of exercise I play football/soccer every day and go to the gym like.
