This is true, But not the reason, Infinity ward ONLY patched the model AKIMBOS so when FMJ is added it bypasses the akimbo only patch.

While this may be true IRL, and I honestly have no idea, it is not true in Call of Duty. FMJ = DEEP IMPACT. It doesn't increase the damage, as the stupid little bars in-game (which are almost all BS anyways) say it does. It reduces the amount of damage lost after penetrating a surface. Also, on topic, it seems that with FMJ and Akimbo on the 1887's together DOES bypass the patch. IW fails again.


EDIT:: After further reading on the FMJ page of the CoD Wiki in the "Real-World Usage" section, Full Metal Jacket doesn't give the bullet "higher momentum" as you claim. It exerts the same force on a smaller area (similar to lying on a bed of nails (normal bullet) as opposed to lying on one nail (FMJ)), therefore increasing the PENETRATION power of the slug (doesn't increase the damage or force).

I love the models. I am so mad about this patch, but I think IW will realized how bad they are now and fix them. Well thats at least what I hope.

there not bad how they are now its just that were abused as a sniper gun when there shotguns

True BUT IW patched model akimbos range and damage but didnt bother to patch it when u use bling with akimbo and FMJ
