Today Activision revealed that they'll be releasing more content for Call of Duty: Black Ops zombie co-operative mode. The Rezurrection pack comes with five locations for players to defend against an undead invasion.
The Rezurrection pack adds an all-new Moon level. It seems you'll be fighting off undead in and around a lunar base. Sure, why not? Other new content includes a Zombies Moon theme and an improved Zombies soundtrack with three new tracks.
The other four maps in the pack - Nacht der Untoten, Verruckt, Shi No Numa and Der Riese - are re-mastered versions of the Call of Duty: World at War zombie maps. They were previously exclusive to owners of the Black Ops Prestige and Hardened Editions.
If you bought one of those special editions, you'll get the rest of the content for no charge. If you don't own the Hardened or Prestige Edition of Black Ops, you'll have to fork over 1200 MS Points ($15).
Rezurrection will launch first on Xbox Live on August 23rd. If previous DLC is any indication, this content will arrive on the PS3 and PC a month later. Treyarch will then hold a double XP event over the long Labor Day weekend.

1oS: Will we learn any new tidbits of backstory from Moon? We already know Der Riese is where they come from, but is there more to tell?
JIMMY ZELINSKI: If your question is to ask me if our zombies are from Der Riese, this would be a good opportunity to re-explore the WAW maps to search for further clues as to the truth behind the origins of the zombies. As to Moon specifically, of course there will be clues to the past and other story elements, but dont be surprised to discover a few hints as to what may be coming in the future.
1oS: Whats a phasing Zombie?
JZ: I dont know. Where have you seen a phasing zombie? Who have you been talking to? Whats this word phasing youre using?
1oS: How does the Quantum Entanglement Device work?
JZ: The answer to what the QED can do can be found in the research of Einstein, Kaluza, Plancke and Klein. That would suggest the possibilities are limitless. Get in the game, throw it out there, and see what it will do FOR YOU.
1oS: Are there other new weapons this time around? Any new gameplay mechanics?
JZ: This game mode is all about discovery. Whether our characters discover new weapons in the various places they visit is dependent on where they go. Same can be said for gameplay mechanics the location dictates how you play. Ever been to the moon?
1oS: Why is Rezurrection misspelled? Is there significance to that?
JZ: You never know where hints and Easter eggs may appear in Zombies. What looks like a typo may be a typobut it might also be the hidden truth behind everything.

Theory!
Ok so think about this, there is earth in the background of a few moon pics right? Well also look at this. There are multiple satellites/Beam like areas as seen in 2, satellite and the earth right next to it, again in the 5th pic, then in pic 6, you see 3 of them. . Im thinking part of the easter egg will be to link these, as there are multiple ones, and from there possible destroy earth.
Also look in all the pics, do you see any perks, lights for a box, a box, or anything? I sure dont. And one pic is of i think almost the hole map. Or half.

Rumours suggest if you look at the earth you can see that all the continents have all formed together making a super continent or "Pangaea"
This map might be set back a long time ago a very long time ago like millions of years ago. Its a strange rumour but could be true.

This map might have been hinted at in the map Der Riese. In Der Riese a big thing that everyone wondered about was the moon in Der Riese people thought if you shot it with an upgraded Wunderwaffe or Ray Gun it would do something to the map but maybe the red dots seen on the moon in the map were some sort of distress signals trying to be sent about a zombies invasion. So as were fighting off zombies on Earth there was already zombies attacking on the moon. If my theory is correct then it would probably take away from the original characters being in this map unless it goes Earth invasion then to a moon invasion.

But the moon base as it is under attack by zombies. The moon base is another and the last place for researching zombies, etc. It would make sense that Group 935 retreated to the moon via the rocket in Ascension. That the asteroids in Shangri-La came from the moon for research. Also it would make more sense that the ship in call of the dead carried cargo from the ascension level that came from the moon. All of the maps are linked together and probably that why they are all included in the next pack. the end!

It is no longer view able on the cod forums, so here is the whole thing! Wasn't me though, im just a messenger.
So here's the story. I used to be a game reviewer for IGN, so naturally, I got to play many games months before release. About a month before Ascension came out, I leaked some info on it on this forum. My boss let it go, but warned me that if it happened again, I would be fired. From that point on, I vowed to never do anything of the sort again. However, just yesterday, my boss told me that after revisiting the situation while in contact with Treyarch, he discovered that technically, I must be fired for this. So I was.
Now, that's bullsh!t, don't you think? To forgive someone for something and then punish them for it months later? So I'm gonna get back at Treyarch for this by leaking information on Moon. Unfortunately for Treyarch, I had the chance to play Moon before I was fired, so now I'm gonna leak a bunch of information on it, information that was supposed to be kept secret from the general gaming public until release. So, here goes nothing:
Let's start by talking about the new wonder weapon everyone's buzzing about: the Wave Gun. I've used this gun before, and I can safely say that you will love it. You shoot it at a crowd of zombies, and they literally puff up and explode. But that's not all this gun does. By pressing left on the d-pad, you can literally split the gun in half, resulting in two separate handheld guns, titled the Voltage Rays. You hold them one in each hand, and they shoot electricity, similar to the Wunderwaffe DG-2, however the Voltage Rays zap less zombies with each shot.
Another thing I want to tell you about is the new special grenade, the Quantam Entanglement Device. When you throw it, it creates a large, dome-shaped force field around it which zombies are seemingly magnetically pulled into, and everything you do to one zombie in the force field happens to all the others in it. For example, if you shoot one zombie, all the others will have a bullet hole in them as well. In the Intel, Treyarch said that along with blessing your battle, the Quantam Entanglement Device can also curse it, but from what I've seen, there are no negative effects of it. Guess I must be missing something.
Another thing you might be interested in knowing about is the new perk, Three-Gun Tequila. As you can probably guess from the title, this perk allows you to wield three weapons instead of the regular two. It costs 3,000 points to buy, its color is grey, and it symbol is a pistol with two phasing pistols stacked under it. If you get downed with this perk, you lose the weapon you were currently holding, but if you're revived and you buy the perk again, you get that weapon back.
The next thing I want to touch upon is the new special zombie, the Phasing Zombie. Similar to the Napalm Zombie and the Shrieker Zombie from Shangri-La, these zombies are fairly rare. But when they do appear, you're in trouble. They appear out of thin air, and you can see them for a moment, but then they become invisible. They don't appear again until they attack or they are shot at. However, if you pay close attention when they're invisible, you can see a kind of distortion where they are. Unfortunately, though, this is hard to see when there are zombies all around you.
Something many people may be excited about is the return of possibly the most popular weapon next to the Ray Gun and Wunderwaffe DG-2 in the original World at War Nazi Zombies: the PPSh-41. The PPSh-41 is just as good as ever and virtually unchanged from the World at War version, besides enhanced graphics and sounds. The quotes from the characters when they get this gun are very entertaining as well. For example, when Nikolai gets it, he sometimes says, "Ah, reminds me of the good old days!", and when Richtofen gets it, he sometimes says, "Hahaha! I love the PP!".
It may also be worth mentioning that you cannot leave the base for more than fifteen seconds seconds if you don't buy a space suit, which can be bought in multiple locations around the map for 1,000 points. When you die, you lose yours.
The last thing I'd like to mention is how you access the Pack-A-Punch machine on Moon. In the power room, there is a large teleporter. To turn it on, you must activate ten different switches scattered around the map. Once you do that, the teleporter turns on for thirty seconds. If you can make it there and teleport, you will end up in Area 51. Here there is a fairly wide open area with the Pack-A-Punch machine in the center. After a minute, you will be teleported back to the moon.

From what I've played, I'd give it a 9 out of 10. And as far as I know, the World at War maps are the same as they were in the Hardened and Prestige editions.

No, there are no special rounds, no traps, and there is the MP40 which you can buy off the wall, but I think that's it for the World at War guns.

No it's not a trap it's just part of the map like the spinning thing in Ascension. And I'm sorry, but it would be too hard to explain the entire layout of the map, and it's not like I memorized the whole layout anyway. But the Bowie Knife is located in one of the outside areas and the Claymores are located in the room overlooking the power room. The power switch is in a large circular room in the middle of the map, where there is also a large teleporter in the center.
Okay, listen up, Black Ops Tiger. The zombies do NOT float while alive, but when they're DEAD, they do float around. And about the PM63, I'm gonna go head and be honest by saying I have no idea about it, okay? It could be like in Call of the Dead where they had the drum mag on the HK21 and the silencer on the MPL, but they didn't end up in the real map. If not, then I don't know. All I know is I didn't see any new gun with a grenade launcher.

Well it has been quite speculated in the past days that the Pack-a-Punch was not seen in the first trailer but during the Inside Xbox Gameplay Video the Pack-a-Punch Machine can be seen in what seems to be a new location that looks nothing like the previous images of the Moon, so with that said i as do many of you believe that the Pack-a-Punch will be in Area 51. You might ask yourself alright how is this going to work and i think that i have it figured out. Take a look at this picture i snapped from the inside xbox trailer...
First thing i'd liked to point out is that the Pack-a-Punch machine is that light blue object behind the fence a little tough to see but its there now on how to get there...
Take a deeper look at this picture what does it look like, if you tohught like me you would say it looks like the multi-player map Hangar 18, the map based off of Area 51. HOw do i know this for sure well first off that main building looks exactly the same as the one in the game and also inside that building you can see a big glowing object which is the same as that big glowing object in the map and is what i believe to be a teleporter the mainfram similar to Der Riese. Now if you look all the way to the right you will see a glowing light which is one of two things, it is a dog spawning or a character being teleported for the sake of my theory im going to go with a character teleporting. So here's the main theory on the moon you will have to activate the Pack-a-Punch somehow then the teleporters will rise up from the ground the players can go in and then you get teleported back to Earth on Area-51 or Hangar 18 you wont all teleport to the same location you will all be spread out amongst the new map. It wont be a peaceful place to just Pack-a-Punch and go back you also have to fight off zombies and then i tihnk that to get back you will have to go to the mainframe teleporter in that building to get back. Well thats my theory on all this tell me what you guys think and ill post it!

When Pack-a-Punched, it is renamed to the V-R11 Lazarus. The V-R11 has Siberian camo and the number 87 written on its side.
Wunderwaffe DG-2 The Wunderwaffe DG-2 is obtained by completing the Original Characters Trapped Easter Egg. You cannot Pack-a-Punch it and you will lose it once you run out of ammo. You can get a max ammo for it however

Personally i think that this is probably one of the best weapons in the game you can get. It does very well on ammo and the power in just one round is unbleivable. If your like me and run laps anywhere you can find them this gun is a must have for you to succeed. While running laps form rounds like 1-12 if you have a massive horde of zombies following you one shot form the Scavenger (not PaP'd) will wipe out just about everybody in that horde. And money is not an issue with this because its like a Gersch device where each kill = 50 points so you will have enough money to PaP in about 3 or 4 rounds with this. Now ive never been to any round above 28 on Call of the Dead but from rounds 15+ this gun PaP with a solid second weapon such as HK-21 is the ideal combo. Here are some videos of the Scavenger for those who haven't seen it...

Dragunov = D115 Disassembler- Increased damage, scope now has variable zoom.
L96A1 = L115 Isolator- Increased damage, scope now has variable zoom.
Launchers
China Lake = China Beach- Increased damage, faster reload speed (the reload animation only requires reloading one grenade and 5 will be loaded), holds 5 rounds, double spare ammo.
M72 LAW = M72 Anarchy- Increased damage, now holds 10 rockets at once firing semi-auto with 2x spare ammo.
Special Weapons
Winters Howl = Winters Fury- Bigger Magazine, Longer Freeze Time, Increased damage.
Ray Gun = Porters X2 Ray Gun- Damage doubled, Spare ammo increased, Magazine capacity doubled.
Thundergun = Zeus Cannon- Doubled Magazine, Can Kill More Zombies with One Shot.
Ballistic Knife = The Krause Refibrillator- Increased damage, now holds 9 spare blades, shooting a downed ally with it will revive them (instant revival upon being hit).
Scavenger - New Explosive Sniper This new explosive sniper rifle is called the Scavenger. It shoots rockets and is bolt action. When upgraded, it is renamed the Hyena Infra-dead.
V-R11 - A.K.A. "Wonder Weapon" or "Humangun" This mystery weapon, known as the V-R11 cures zombies and turn them into humans. The other zombies will then kill these cured zombies. When Pack-a-Punched, it is renamed to the V-R11 Lazarus. The V-R11 has Siberian camo and the number 87 written on its side.
Wunderwaffe DG-2 The Wunderwaffe DG-2 is obtained by completing the Original Characters Trapped Easter Egg. You cannot Pack-a-Punch it and you will lose it once you run out of ammo. You can get a max ammo for it however
Crossbow = Awful Lawton- Increased damage, now the rounds fired will attract zombies (just like Monkeys, though these explosive bolts explode.

WONDER WEAPONS[color]

Personally i think that this is probably one of the best weapons in the game you can get. It does very well on ammo and the power in just one round is unbleivable. If your like me and run laps anywhere you can find them this gun is a must have for you to succeed. While running laps form rounds like 1-12 if you have a massive horde of zombies following you one shot form the Scavenger (not PaP'd) will wipe out just about everybody in that horde. And money is not an issue with this because its like a Gersch device where each kill = 50 points so you will have enough money to PaP in about 3 or 4 rounds with this. Now ive never been to any round above 28 on Call of the Dead but from rounds 15+ this gun PaP with a solid second weapon such as HK-21 is the ideal combo.
