I wrote the entire guide. Please no comments like "omg u r teh biggest n00b evar every1 nos about th3se". If you want tips on the most current scams, go and read it If you don't want to, then don't lol.
After each tip, is either an explanation or an example of the scam.

1. Do not trust anyone that claims that they can double money or items!
Many people on Runescape now adays claim that they can double or triple money, but this is not the case. All these people do is take your hard earned gp, because there is no possible way that you can duplicate anything in Runescape. Please never trade these people, not a sinlge one is legit!

2. Only place the dice game with trusted hosts! And make sure it isn't an imposter!

If you ever feel like risking your money to make the big bucks, and want to play the dice game, please find a trusted hoster! I will make a future post about how to find a trusted host, but a few quick tips are: make sure the person is ranked in a trusted clan, make sure they actually have money AND dice in there inventory (make sure they dont have 27 or 28 spaces open), and please do not trade level 27s wearing steel armour with no ammy, as this is one of the many signs that the person just needs money and is going to scam.

3. Do not buy goodie baskets!

You will give the person 100k in order to recieve a random item which is almost always crap. Nuff said.

4. Read BOTH trade windows before accepting the final trade!
I have noticed a few people on the streets saying things like, Selling full sara for only 1m!. This sounds like a great deal, so you trade the person, they put up the sara (in a set), you put up the 1m, you both accept once but then the other person cancels and says somehting like oops! Retrade pl0x. Once you trade them again they may just put up something like a mithril armour set. This is just an example of a scam, but you should ALWAYS check BOTH trade windows.

5. Do not play the trust game! Ever!
The trust game has been around for a long time, but is 99.9% of the time a scam. The host will usually be wearing something of great value to show that he is rich and can afford the prize he claims he will give you if you trust him. He may give back the first couple things you trade him, but once you get to that guthix platebody, hes going to log off! Some of these people also may have a friend helping them to make you think he is actually giving them the stuff back! Your best bet is to never follow people saying trust game.

I really do hope these tips help you keep your money safe. Feel free to message me with any comments, concerns, or scams I may have forgotten! Thanks all for reading!
