The "Rezurrection" Map pack will be 1200 msp ($15 or 9 pounds) unless you have the hardened or prestige edition of Black Ops, then it is free. It will be released first on the Xbox Live Marketplace on August 23 and later on other gaming platforms sometime in September. It will be a first for the Call of Duty Series being an only Zombie map pack. It will consist of five maps which include a new map called "Moon" and the four original maps from Call of Duty: World At War, all redone and remastered for Black Ops standards, including: weapons and graphics. The Map pack was announced on August 3rd and has been blowing up on the internet (As usual for a CoD Map Pack). There will also be an enhanced zombie soundtrack along with three unreleased tracks and a Moon theme for the Xbox 360 Dashboard.

This is the question a lot of people are probably asking and i'm pretty stumped as well. This is my thought process. The Items you get must lead to the new easter egg, the items being the "Golden Rod", which was discovered on Call of the Dead and the "Focusing Stone", which was found in Shangri-La. One being a spiritual item known irl as a "Vrill Generator" and the other being what looks to be a meteorite that is full of element 115 which is supposedly "powering" the Wonder Weapons. So My final answer is: Idk the only other idea I have is maybe you aren't the original characters which probably isn't true.

Well from the various sites I have visited looking for the answers to this question I found this in many of them

Wave Gun, capable of cooking zombies from the inside out

which makes me think that it is something that you shoot into the zombie then explodes, kind of like a crossbow. Also the weapon looks as if it were a mix between the ray gun and the Freeze gun from five.

I believe this theory was thought of by the Syndicate Project on Youtube and his theory was that there was some sort of weapon that shot up from Earth, hit the moon, then came back to earth and destroyed all zombies.

theory states that the map is not actually in the present, but instead millions of years in the past. It seems like a strange predicament until you look at the Earth in the screenshots. It actually does look as if all of Earth's land masses are one which is known as "Pangea".

If any of you have notices the map from WaW named Der Riese translates to English as "The Giant".


BUT, on the Rezurrection map pack poster on the factory AKA Der Riese it is spelled differently as Der Reise notice that instead of it being IE it is EI.

If you look at them. they are spelled just a tad diffrently, but that diffremce means alot in tranlsation we know that the waw der riese tranlsated from german to english is "the giant" but the rezurection Der reise translates from german to english as "the travel"

Woah the travel? yes the travel... think about it. the travel... and the Moon, thats a travel right there. a far travel at that. doessnt it make so much sense?

BLESS= See what happens is when you throw it on the playing field any action performed on a zombie effects all the other zombies with the same action in the area.

Ex: 1shot+1zombie+QED= (x)zombies shot


Curse= When the QED is thrown if a zombie hits a player all other players in range get hit as well.

Now I assume that its not just bullets, it also claymores, wonder weapons, knifes, etc.

Proof includes: The inside xbox video when Nikolai throws the QED there is a multiple explosion, but there are no colors so it can't be matryshka dolls. Secondly the other player gets the points instead of Nikolai. Now if you watch the explosions they look like claymore explosions. So what if one of the zombies tripped a claymore so they all tripped claymores. Or the second player is using his dragons breath so they all got shot with dragons breath.

Just when you thought it was safe to start shelving your copy of "Call of Duty: Black Ops" in preparation for "Modern Warfare 3," Activision has announced that another map pack is on the way. Titled "Resurrection," the pack is scheduled for release in September for Xbox 360, PS3 and PC. The news was revealed as part of Activision's second quarter earnings reports.

"Resurrection" is the fourth map pack, following "First Strike," "Escalation" and "Annihilation." Each of those packs included four multiplayer maps and a new zombie map, for a price of $15, so it's safe to say that formula will continue for this new pack. The name does, however, imply that it'll resurrect old maps in the series...something that none of the "Black Ops" map packs have really done.

It could also simply be the wide release of the original "World at War" zombie maps, which, up until now, were only available in "Black Ops" for those who purchased the $80 Hardened edition of the game. Given that those maps already exist and would require no development work whatsoever, they'd be an easy way to get another map pack out without expending any resources. It would be a disappointment, though, given how much effort Treyarch has put into the "Black Ops" map packs thus far.

Unfortunately details are pretty scarce about the "Resurrection" map pack at present, beyond the fact that it's coming in September for all platforms. We'll have more information as it develops, including the contents, price and precise release date for the pack, so stay tuned.

Update: The contents of the Resurrection map pack -- which is in fact called Rezurrection -- have been detailed, and, as many fans have asked for, it's an all-Zombies update. There will be five maps: four remastered and updated maps from World at War (Nacht der Untoten, Verruckt, Shi No Numa, and Der Riese), which were included with the Hardened and Prestige editions of Black Ops, and a new map called Moon.
It's hinted that things will be different on the Moon level (low gravity, perhaps?), but that information wasn't forthcoming. A bonus Moon dashboard theme for 360 is included with the DLC, as is the official soundtrack for Zombies map (plus three new tracks).

As for the Rezurrection name, Zombies creative lead Jimmy Zelinski told One of Swords, "You never know where hints and Easter eggs may appear in Zombies. What looks like a typo may be a typo... but it might also be the hidden truth behind everything.

The DLC will be available on August 23 on Xbox 360, and, given past trends, late September on PC and PS3. It will cost 1,200 Microsoft Points ($15) like the previous three map packs, but anyone who purchased the Hardened or Prestige editions (thereby granting them access to four of these five maps) will get the DLC for free.

Original Story: Activision has revealed that a fourth downloadable map pack is in development for Call of Duty: Black Ops.

Known as Resurrection, the map pack is expected to be out this quarter, according to a press release on the company's financial results for its second quarter. That means it should be in the hands of at least Xbox 360 gamers by the end of September, although, like the others, it'll also end up on PS3 and PC at some point.

No further details were shared, but with an Activision Blizzard conference call having just kicked off, we may receive some additional information shortly.

JIMMY ZELINSKI: If your question is to ask me if our zombies are from Der Riese, this would be a good opportunity to re-explore the WAW maps to search for further clues as to the truth behind the origins of the zombies. As to Moon specifically, of course there will be clues to the past and other story elements, but dont be surprised to discover a few hints as to what may be coming in the future.

JZ: The answer to what the QED can do can be found in the research of Einstein, Kaluza, Plancke and Klein. That would suggest the possibilities are limitless. Get in the game, throw it out there, and see what it will do FOR YOU.

1oS: Are there other new weapons this time around? Any new gameplay mechanics?
JZ: This game mode is all about discovery. Whether our characters discover new weapons in the various places they visit is dependent on where they go. Same can be said for gameplay mechanics the location dictates how you play. Ever been to the moon?

Nazi Zombie story line in chronological order

In the beginning a meteor (multiple possibly) split up in earths atmosphere and landed in multiple spots. The moon, Shangri la , Shino Numa, possibly Tunguska(other whereabouts unknown at the moment). The meteor possessed a dangerous element called 115, that had the ability to bring the dead back to life.

The story of are heroes begins somewhere close to 1944 with a group called 935(head of organization Hitler) who harnessed this element and tested with it on humans, attempting to make a super soldier. They failed and created zombies. Other weaponized experiments by 935 include the Wunderwaffe, teleporter, the 31-79 JGb215, thunder gun, monkey bombs, and others yet to be discovered.

At the time of experimentation an undercover American spy Peter had been captured by Nazis and an American team was sent to Verruct( An insane asylum, where experimentation was taking place) to extract him. All the members of the American team were killed except for one (Tank) who was captured by 935 and taken to Der Riese(935s main location) for experimentation by Dr. Richtofen and Maxis. Along with Tank were two others, Nikolai and Takeo(origin unknown). The tests conducted on the three erased their memory and made them each have a defect. Nikolais vodka addiction, Tanks aggression, and Takeo only being able to speak in proverbs, but the tests turned them into super soldiers, which is why they are unaffected by zombie bites and such.

Dr. Maxis ( Richtofens superior) was hated by Rictofen, and so when an experiment on Maxiss daughters(Samantha) dog went wrong, a hell hound was born, Fluffy. Richtofen hating Maxis locked him and his daughter inside of the testing chamber with the beast. The beast tore Maxis and the daughter to bits, but in the final moments of Samanthas life she fell into a faulty teleporter and was transformed into a demon of sorts. Here spiritually, but not physically. Cursed to follow Richtofen and haunt his days and control the zombies that chase him.

Somewhere close to this moment of time an eclipse occurred, and two things happened, one a plane crashed and landed in Nacht Der Untoten where zombies over ran the area and killed the passengers(origin of zombies unknown). Also in Shangri la two explorers (Gary and Brock) found a lost temple and found a stone of element 115. The two touched it and woke an army of zombies and trapped themselves deep underneath the temple.

Richtofen afraid of being blamed for Maxiss death fled from Der Riese with his new super soldiers, Tank, Nikolai, and Takeo. Retracing the origins of element 115, Rictofen and his group went to Nacht Der Untoten, were recently a plane had crashed and rumors of zombies in the area had been talked about, looking for more 115 they ventured to Verruct, then Shino Numa, then finally back to Der Riese.

Finding the place over run with zombies they were forced to teleport, but at the same time the wunderwaffe was fired and it took them into the future, and placed them somewhere close to 1961. Many things happened between 1945 and 1961. First America won World War 2 and so America and the Soviet Union infiltrated 935s compound, and stole much of the element and info.

America used the element and created a new weapon called winters howl, and they tried to replicate the thundergun, but failed, but managed to replicate the raygun and improve the teleporters. America also realizing that more 115 was on the moon, sent a chimp into space to search for it, this created the cosmic silver back.

The Soviet Union managed to replicate the thunder gun and raygun, and create a device that opens black holes (gersch device), and an explosive sniper armed with element 115(Scavenger), and a human gun( Vr-ll). They also developed a nova gas zombie on accident with a chemical that the zombies absorbed.

935 went into hiding and set up there facility in an abandoned theater called Kino Der Toten or The Theater of the Damned located in Berlin. Where they attempted to brain wash the zombies with movie reels. This method worked temporally and then failed, so 935 was forced to leave. This is where Richtofen and his group where transported to. Here they found more 115, but it wasnt pure enough so they transported again.

Arriving in Ascension (Russian Rocket ship base) the group stumbles upon a trapped spirit (Gersch) who is being chased by none other than Samantha, the little demon. Richtofen wanting to hurry on with his master plan, puts a space suit on and is ready to go to the moon. The others seeing the trapped spirit want to help it. After a serious of events our heroes free Gersch, and he floats away to a distant place (Unknown place, maybe moon) Freeing him some how hurts Samantha, and she flees (to the moon most likely.) At the same time she teleports our heroes away so they can not follow her in one of the rockets. Also at the same time the president and Castro were being attacked by zombies in the pentagon, not that important.

They are transported to present day 2013. Where they are stuck in a room, with a broken teleporter and need help from a movie crew who are fighting zombies as well. With the help of the actors they fixed the teleporter and Richtofen finds the item that he needs (golden rod), but thought would be found in a different time.

Traveling again through time they find themselves in Shangri La, a place where 935 had attempted to mine 115, but were over ran by zombies again. Before they left, they left one piece of pure element for Richtofen and wrote his name on the pedestal that held it. To get this however the group had to help a group of explorers by using a teleporter that temporarily turned time back to the moment of the eclipse, when the two explorers had touched the element and trapped themselves. After helping them Richtofen retrieved the pure element( Focusing stone).

Richtofen needing the item that is on the moon heads to area 51 where rockets are rumored to be. There the group prepared for their trip to the Moon, but area 51 now being a barren wasteland full of zombies, our heroes barley escape the horde with their lives and rocket to the moon. What does Samantha want to keep from Richtofen? What does Richtofen need for his master plan? Find out on August 23!

Quantum Entanglement is a real thing. To tell you the truth I still have no idea what it is even after I read this article. But it is real.

Quantum entanglement occurs when electrons, molecules even as large as "buckyballs"[1][2], photons, etc., interact physically and then become separated; the type of interaction is such that each resulting member of a pair is properly described by the same quantum mechanical description (state), which is indefinite in terms of important factors such as position[3], momentum, spin, polarization, etc. According to the Copenhagen interpretation of quantum mechanics, their shared state is indefinite until measured[4]; quantum entanglement is a form of quantum superposition. When a measurement is made and it causes one member of such a pair to take on a definite value (e.g., clockwise spin), the other member of this entangled pair will at any subsequent time[5] be found to have taken the complementary value (e.g., counterclockwise spin). Thus, there is a correlation between the results of measurements performed on entangled pairs, and this occurs even though the entangled pair may have been separated by arbitrarily large distances.[6]
This behavior is theoretically coherent and has been demonstrated experimentally, and it is accepted by the physics community. However there is some debate[7] about a possible underlying mechanism that enables this correlation to occur even when the separation distance is large. The difference in opinion derives from espousal of various interpretations of quantum mechanics.

The Golden Rod is actually called a "Vril Generator" in real life. Vril is a substance described in Edward Bulwer-Lytton's 1871 novel The Coming Race, which was later reprinted as Vril: The Power of the Coming Race. The novel is an early example of science fiction. However, many early readers believed that its account of a superior subterranean master race and the energy-form called "Vril" was accurate, to the extent that some theosophists accepted the book as truth. Furthermore, since 1960 there has been a conspiracy theory about a secret Vril Society.

Ununpentium (i/ununpntim/ oon-oon-pen-tee-m)[1] is the temporary name of a synthetic superheavy element in the periodic table that has the temporary symbol Uup and has the atomic number 115.
It is placed as the heaviest member of group 15 (VA) although a sufficiently stable isotope is not known at this time that would allow chemical experiments to confirm its position. It was first observed in 2003 and only about 30 atoms of ununpentium have been synthesized to date, with just 4 direct decays of the parent element having been detected. Four consecutive isotopes are currently known, 287290Uup, with 289Uup having the longest measured half-life of ~220 ms.[2]
