How To Connect To Xbox LIVE without a Router.

Step 1. Have a Ethernet cable running from the back of your Xbox to your Laptop
Step 2. Go To The Start (Windows Flag at Bottom Left Corner).
Step 3. Go To Network
Step 4. Go To Network and Sharing Center.
Step 5. There will be 2 things, your wireless internet and your xbox.
Step 6. Go To the Wireless Network and click View Status.
Step 7. Click Properties at the bottom.
Step 8. Go To The Sharing Tab at The Top.
Step 9. If Done Right You Will have the Top One checked and the bottom one un-checked.
Step 10. Check both of Them.
Step 11. Go To Your Xbox and Test Connection (NOTE THIS WILL NOT WORK THE FIRST TIME).
Step 12. Go Back to Network, Network and Sharing Center and un-check them both.
Step 13. Test Your Connection on the Xbox.
Step 14. If Done Right it will work.
Step 15. Enjoy!

Doesn't your laptop have to be connected to the internet though, which would mean you would have a router because your laptop would be connected wireless ? I could be wrong though.
