Did God create the universe? Nobody knows that answer simply because no one knows if there is a god. For all we know, the human race could have formed from bacteria because of evolution. Something can't necessarily be "made" without a creator. Coming back from the "God created everything", you don't know who created him, or who created the creator of god. It goes on to infinite. Religion cannot describe how the human race, or even how life was created. So, technically, you can't go to God for all the questions science cannot answer.

I have a feeling I will get Christian hate simply because I said "God doesn't exist" in the paragraph above. Don't be dumb about it. I respect that you're Christian. Respect me for my religion, which I will not admit.

Some rocks hit together and a nice greeny blue bit came off them and then God flew there and he made some animals and people and then he flew away to the sun or whatever then people loved him.

TTG_Circus_Fr34k wrote God always was, is, and will be. He created everything.

How about we stop using the goddidit version and use something that has credibility other than some 'god' creating the world. You say the big bang never happened but god was just there? I find that hard to believe, I expected some people could actually give an intelligent answer to his question other than god did it; but what was I expecting from a video game website.

After the big band it released matter and energy that now form the universe. Some of this matrial began to form stars, but not all at once. The sun is a relatively young star, and scientists say stars are still forming.

Some of the earlier stars reached the end of their lives and died, some simply cooling down, and some more spectacularly. A supernova star exploded in our neighborhood in our galaxy, and a little of that material was captured in orbit around the sun, eventually to form the planets and moons. The earth was formed about 4.5 billion years ago.

After the earth cooled enough to allow life to exist, the earliest simple life forms began to evolve in the oceans. The Theory of Evolution tells us how these early life forms, over an immense period of more than a billion years, evolved into higher life forms. Some organisms evolved into plant life, while others evolved into primitive animal forms. Some primitive organisms still exist that have features of both plant and animal forms.

Eventually, certain fishes began to exist out of water, for short periods, developing skeletons that could support their weight. Their buoyancy bladders became adapted as lungs so that they could breathe air. Plants and animals continued to evolve side by side, with neither process occurring before the other.

Humans are one of the most recent, but not necessarily THE most recent species to evolve naturally. We have begun to mimic nature by using artificial selection to improve species and even create new ones. For example, the now-extinct onyx was captured and bred, eventually resulting in our oxen, or cattle.

What we see in this is that there is a logical sequence, one which differs somewhat from the biblical stories, but the creation processes were not entirely sequential, with one creation stage completed before another began. Even now, new stars are being formed, and no doubt life is just now emerging on young planets somewhere in the universe.

Having an education is good isn't it? Well I think it's safe to say that we're dealing with mentally retarded apologists.
