To be honest no. It not gaming anymore it's a social system. The prices for games and the systems are getting outragest. And most of the games are the same or very predictable. I like how the system are becoming moreinteractive

The future of games in my opinion seem like it should be ok for a while.

Modern Warfare 3, and BFBC3 Looks like it will be good. So games should be good for one or two more generations, But after that. I think something new will need to come out. We all need something new, We can't be bored.

Gaming will always be around, Maybe just in different forms. Maybe a new kind of 1st person shooter will come out that we havent even though of. I can't wait to see!

Well with all of the new games coming out near the end of the year I'd say legit gaming, as in not hacking, looks great. But if you are referring to the future of game modding and hacking consoles, than I'd have to leave that at a solid MAYBE. Buying jtags costs money, as we all are aware, and Ps3 jailbreaks are out of the question at the moment, there is hope for the ps3 though, only if a new jailbreak method is to work, but if it doesn't, jailbreaking could be a thing of the past. All new games that are coming out look great, looking forward to getting MW3 and Battlefield 3, Gaming future looks brighter than its ever been.

If CoD is destroyed gamings future will be better.
So games such as Skyrim, Gears, future Battlefield games can get their profit that they deserve.
Also gamings future might become worse such as you had said health hazards. Also there are the immature kids that usually scream in their microphones and rant and rave. If CoD is destroyed the immature little kids will move to BF and other FPS games. With them moving to other games those games may lose players. Reasons below.
I and plenty of others who don't play CoD have this on our reasons not to play.
Immature Kids
Ex: They die in a match, then rant and rave. Yes there may be a mute button. But we don't like muting so many people every match or two.
I hope with BF3 your squad/platoon can talk to you but nobody else. So the immature little kids can't hear us or talk to us. But you can't lock your squad/platoon in BFBC2 so they can get in the squad your in. Hopefully in BF3 you can lock your squad.
