Well i have been bored lately and i have been looking into jtags for quite awhile. All i want to do is offline mod several different games and just play games. And if jtags were able to go online soon all i would do is mod halo. Screw callofduties. Also who should i buy it from too. Budget: $350

Jasper would be least prone to RROD. If you are wanting to play backups and just goof around offline...that'd be your safest bet.

*Before I start my rant...I don't condone piracy. Do with your box what you will*
How is having a JTAG for offline use "wasting money"?
Do you play any games that don't have any Xbox Live gameplay (Oblivion, LA Noire, Bioshock, etc. etc.)? Lets say you have 6 games. 6 games @ $60 a pop...theres $360. For that price...I can get a Jasper and have as many games as I can load on my HDD. I can also play emulators, goof around with modifications that would otherwise not be possible, play online for free via Xlink Kai, etc. My JTAG can't go online...but if the game doesn't support XBL access...who cares?
Is modding games online fun...yes. I've done it, it was fun goofing around on MW2 before 12625, but it isn't the only thing a JTAG is good for. Buying a JTAG for online mods will get bored quick...and a h*ll of a lot more of a "waste of money" then buying one for playing games offline.
