gold is kinda important it lets u play on xbox live games with people and other things that are used daily with xbox you need gold for

aidan, I believe his is talking about the gold here at the forums which cost about 6 bucks a month.

I personally think it is nice to have, and you do hear about a few things before others and have dl links to movies and stuff which is pretty cool... depends on the person tbh. I think its worth it for me. if you just want tenth prestige, dont expect going gold to change anything.

now a benefit of gold, is you prob will have a better chance of getting invited first to modded games like explosive bullets, etc before anybody else does!
