Poetic wrote Yeah I'm not going to rate it because its not your design. I said the outcome came out nicely, that should be enough.
I also never said I never have done tutorials, but if I ever post work that I followed a tutorial for, I let people know it was from one.

Your too sensitive about the plagiarism of this... tutorials are soley made for teaching and allowing others to create a certain or similar end product than that of the result in a tutorial. over all of the graphics forums i have ever been apart of i have never seen someone care about another person using a tutorial nor have i seen anyone give credit for using a tutorial. The only thing that people don't like is taking credit for RIPPING a tutorial that is not theres... so quite frankly it doesn't matter.

Also, if you take the link to the image and google search the image itself it does not return ANY clones therefore he legitimately made the apple.

...The point I was making was that he did not design the apple.
I don't care that he has used a tutorial, but by him not stating that he used a tutorial, leads everybody to believe this is his original concept.
What can I rate when somebody used a tutorial:
Originality: nope
Process of manipulation: nope
the ability to follow steps: yes
Last time I checked originality and creativity were parts of the rating system...
so I'm pretty sure its important to state its a tutorial.

So this is not my work because I followed a tutorial? I did not state that I did this out of the blue, stop trying to make it out as if I'm ripping off a tutorial. This was made by me, I followed a tutorial, nobody gives a shit apart from you. I'm sure you have followed a tutorial before, many people here followed a tutorial here on how to use Cinema 4D, go rip on them.

It would seem you don't comprehend what I'm saying.
I never said I have never followed a tutorial.
I never have said it is bad to follow tutorials.
So let me start again.
Creativity is a big part of art.
Following a tutorial rips all creativity from your work.
Thus changing how people should view and rate the piece.
That is all I am trying to say.
If you don't get what I'm saying now, I guess you never will.

To be honest, you sound now like some kind of art lecturer Most people here don't like these kind of designs, yes I understand that, but I still don't think just because you follow a tutorial, it's not original.

Stop replying to everyones rating!

1. Youre boosting your post count
2. Youre constantly bumping your post.
3. Nothing that you say is relevant like "You don't like apples?"
4. Let people rate, you read, and don't say anything else unless they question you.
5. Never seen an apple so shiny 8)
