in WaW which at the time was world war 1
nazis would have hats exactly like that.
you can look at any Cod5 zombies picture they will have that hat.

I think this is the end of zombies if you look at shi no numa nickolai is a zombie and so is richtofen...(he does look like hes from dead snow)

I got all the map packs on WaW, and if I remember correctly all the zombies on Shi No Numa pretty much looked like Nikolai and had that hat on.

World at War was based on World War 2... Did they have Thompsons in WW1? NO!
Only an officer or a higher rank would have that hat. You sir, don't know anything...



Well on topic, I think it is just a zombie animation, showing its only "NAZI ZOMBIES" this time, not gas mask zombies, or swamp zombies. Just my opinion...
