Im making a gaming PC but what should I get? A i7 2600k or i5 2500k with 3.30hz?

The i7-2600k will have slight to no difference in gaming. The extra 100$ that you pay for the 2600k goes towards the hyperthreading cores. The hyperthreading cores ( 4 cores - 8 threads ) will only help when video rendering / heavy editing..etc.

Get an i5-2500k with a Hyper 212.

get i5-2500k and overclock it, no point in getting i7
