when youre trying to read the nand youre not supposed to have the console turned on, just have the power cable plugged in but the console turned OFF

nope that wont affect it, also make sure that none of the nand x wires connecteing to the board are touching eachother

none of the wires are touching each other ontop i don't think they are long enough underneath to touch, this is doing my head in why cant it just work
I'm getting Error 0 on every one now and incompatible ARM hardware so i have to take out the nand-X and put it back in all the time

the only other thing i could think of is that one of the wires isnt soldered correctly, try re-doing all of the wires making sure that the wires gain good contact with the board and then give it ago, also make sure that you have the right console selected in jtag tool

Ok, so on the points that you soldered the nand x wires to, you will see 'lines' on the mobo going to the points either on the top or bottom side. 1 or more of the points isnt making proper contact with the nand x wire. To fix that problem, just add a little bit of solder to the point on the side that the 'line' connects to, to join the point and the nand x wire.

Try reinstalling your drivers for the nandx. IT should show in device manager as a: PRUFTECHNIK USB DEVICE------>Xecuter NandX USB. Also check your connections for the nandx, as well as your jtag connections. Are you getting read errors, or are you getting write errors or both? I had similar issues when trying to use the QSBs that came with the nandx. I gave those up and went to the fast switching diodes. Watch your cathode band for polarity. I was then able to read/write reliably. Hope this helps.
