I think that the meaning of the Z may just be something as simple as to signify a zombies only map pack or it may have a deeper meaning to the zombies storyline. Such as from the loading screen of Dead Ops Arcade the coin has a Z on it. Maybe to say the Cosmic Silverback is the new boss on Moon or is just a coincidence.

Let me know in what you think by posting below correct me if I am wrong in anyway.

All I know is that in an interview with a Treyarch dev, he said this:

"A misspelling could be just a typo, or it could be the answer to everything."

So i believe there is some importance in the misspelling.

As for the end of zombies, I think this is it for Black Ops, but maybe the storyline will be continued in the next Treyarch Call of Duty (Call of Duty 9, according to rumors).
