I think it's all fake. The reason they went through all the effort of making fake photographs is because of the 'Space Race' with the russians. They wanted to make sure they beat them so they made fake moon landing photographs to make them believe they beat them.

You can tell there fake by how the flag is waving around in the air after the put it in the moon. There isn't any wind on the moon so why would it be waving?

I saw a mythbusters episode explaining this.
Their conclusion was to be that it was real.
But you can believe what you want.
