Please tell us more about the issues you are having.
You must give us a specific message or we cannot help you.

EDIT: I see what you mean. That is usually a massive lag on a server or your client.

Change your video settings to these.

Turn off Bobbing!
Change your render distance to short or tiny!
Make one of the settings that says "Balanced" say "Power Saver"
Turn OFF smooth lighting!
Turn graphics to Fast!

Try those settings.

Minecraft needs at least 512 MB of RAM to run correctly.
You might have a bad connection to the server/internet and you may have a bad graphics card also! Try and buy one from a local tech store. (Not joking)

Protocol: You have to do it twice so you have forwarded the UDP and TCP EDIT: TCP should be fine on its own

Service: DNS, I think, not too sure will check that.

External: 25565

Internal: 25565

IPv4: You have to find yours and set it as the .xxx bit

Is it possible to portforward with a dynamic IP address?

If I set up a dyndns server and host it myself will it affect my internet or gameplay? I'm running on 8MBPS. I'd appreciate you linking me a video or explaining how to host a server with dyndns or anything.

First off, no I do not think you can with a dynamic IP address, it must be static.

If you host it yourself, yes it will affect gameplay, you have to change the bandwidth your allocating to it so it doesn't use as much making the game playable, it will not be as good though.

I presume you mean how to set one up, the dyndns is just to hide YOUR IP address.

Thats the best tutorial IMO.
Hope thats enough detail.
