You got any other suggestions on how to fix the failed to bind to port error?

okay. Go onto server.properties and change online mode to false. Then open up cmd prompt and type cd pathtoserverfolder Of course with you servers folders path. Hit enter and on the next line type java -Xmx1G -Xms1G -jar craftbukkit-0.0.1-SNAPSHOT.jar

Now it should work.

Hi, I have set up my server with craftbukkit using the tutorial by Portland.
I have port forwarded as well, but whenever me or my friends try to connect to the server, the connection times out.The only way I can connect is by putting localhost or by putting :25565.There are no errors in the terminal window, and I am using the correct ip address.
Help?

Are you trying to connect using your IP with :25565 on the end? If you are do you have any anti-virus firewalls on your computer?
