Sorry to bust everyone's bubbles (I was heartbroken when I found this out) all the pretty colours in space which entice a large amount of people into space and stars 'n' shizz is not what you think it is cause all photographs from space via telescope are in fact black and white (sad times right?) anyway the colours are just some sad ass dream crusher with f****** photoshop adding them in so heat can be seen easy for scientists.

since I found this I've never been into the pictures any more cause they are a lie like everything on this planet.

LOL but seriously I was pretty gutted to find out they were fake and thought I'd share it with the people I love the most (fellow gamers)

Stars produce varying colors depending on heat. I.E., red is the coolest, blue/violet is hottest.

So yes, there are colors. Different spectrums are often used to "look" in to space, so some coloration might result from that.
