Money. That's the base idea of this. Now hear me out and read all the way through before you call me crazy. There are certain people for each theory like in 2000 or Y2K. Big companies payed people to start these rumors and to say they were based on facts. When the people of the world asked "what can I do to live through this?" the big head honchos jumped onto that. They would tell people buy these supplies, and LOTS of them. When the world didn't end they could just say "be thankful it didn't happen." Now onto the most recent end of the world thing, not the the wide known 2012 one the even more recent one. Yes I'm talking about the man who said the world would end not to long ago by the Rapture. I was rock climbing in the desert the day he said the faithful would get raptured. I don't recall seeing anyone floating naked into the air. Well when nothing happened he said "oh it was a spiritual rapture the real rapture will come in 2012 not the same time as the more famous 2012 happening. People donated money to him for his cause, but there is no cause so whatever **** dumb people. Now we get to 2012. Now everybody knows you wont be able to hide in the basement when 2012 doesn't happen, but then why make something up if you can't sell supplies for the hype? Well there is a movie and a donation funds to "try" to stay alive while 2012 is going on. So when you hear an end of the world theory, just think how can someone benefit from this hoax?
