SO i recently downloaded some songs from youtube with youtube downloader and converted them to the right format and fully updated my iPod 1G (yes i know its shit)
But the songs wont sync, i tried manually selecting them manually dropping them in using iTunes to pull them in even dropping them in the iTunes music directory.
But they still won't sync. I Will +150 rep for a fully working answer. Thanks

Plug your device in. Go to it. Go over to music and if the box is unselected, select it. Then sync. Also, check if the songs are checked. And, that there is no error next to them in your library.

Also done this at least 3 times. before you suggested it and yet it still doesn't sync.

When you go to your music library, is there a circled exclamation point next to the music, or can you play the music on your computer? If an error comes up and you can't play the music on your computer/laptop, then your music file is a corrupted file.
