Read the OP... I've covered this.

Solos are not good headphones, any way you look at it.

I just got some Sony MDR-XB500's, and i compared them to my brothers Beats "Studio" headphones. They sounded about the same if not, better. And they are only like $60.

Sony XB700? AKG K181? Depending on what you plan on where you're using them, either would be awesome.

If you want bass in an over-ear headphone, the Sony XB700 (I recommend these A LOT) is a solid choice. You can probably try them at Best Buy, as well!

The Hippo VBs are a decent choice for bassy IEMs, but I would recommend the Xeport 5010s instead because the bang-for-your-buck is much better.

I'm sure there is an IEM that I'm forgetting to recommend, but it's not coming to me.

Pretty much all the above. You get the PM I sent you? It's still in my outbox.

You'll like the Ultrasone HFI 780 and the Aiaiai TMA-1. I would get the former since it's actually more portable due to it's versatile design, but both are great for the price and will have the bass to compliment your music! If you want to save some money, the AKG K181DJ is a great alternative. There are plenty more, as well. Just have a look at the headphone guide or ask!
