I'd get the Vsonic GR06. They're available on Ebay for much less than your budget. but I think this is money well-saved. The build quality, sound, and accessories are unbeatable for the price and the sound signature (neutral yet natural) should compliment your music very nicely!

So I've been looking at the Beats Solo for my iPod and I was wondering if that would be a good choice. I listen to Dubstep/Electronic/House/Hip-Hop/Rap. I'm kinda looking for headphones that have bass but at the same time have good sound quality. If not what would be your recommendation?

The Beats are actually one of the worst choices you can make. If you want any clarification, read the OP where I explained it very thoroughly.
Anyway, I can't really help you until I have a budget. How much do you want to pay? For reference, the Koss Portapro absolutely destroys the Solo HD for ~$25.

My friend ADORES the Ultimate Ears for metal. Not too sure about the Ety's since I haven't heard those, but I really liked their more expensive ER4S for metal, and the additional bass the dynamic drivered MC5 have should make them an excellent match for metal.

If you want on-ear headphones like the Solo, the Aiaiai TMA-1 or AKG K181DJ if you want to save money are two good options. I'd get over-ears, though. They'll be more comfortable, have better sound quality, and be just as portable. Take a look at the soon-to-be-released V-Moda LP2 and the Audio Technica Pro 700 MkII. Both are incredible bassy cans, and you'll absolutely love either of them!

Have you seen the LP2? If you're interested in looks, well, see for yourself!

Yes I'm very well interested in looks. But they too look good. I'm deciding on which one to pick. But yeah thanks!

I have Sennheiser 202 II HD. They are honestly pretty good, besides I use them in school, and the 10 Foot cord annoys me.
But what the hell, I'll throw in an advice form to see what I should have gotten:
Budget: $70
Music preference: Rap/Dubstep/Rock
Type / form factor and portability: Over-ear (they always have better sound)
Open/Closed (Not for in-ear): Closed
Source(s): iPod Touch 4
