PardonMyFrench wrote Hey what do you think about audio technical athm50?

I think I own them! They're very good, but not the best anymore, especially for the price. I got mine almost two years ago and for much less than they are now. I'd suggest the Brainwavz HM5 or Ultrasone HFI-580, maybe even the Philips Citiscape Uptown over them now.

I'd get the Shure SE215, but there's also the Beyerdynamic DTX 101 IE that's worth considering. The SE215 has killer isolation, comfort, build quality, and design, though.

I don't recommend console-specific headsets because they all suck. PC gaming headsets are easy because they have 3.5 mm jacks, but consoles screw everything up.

The Philips Citiscape Uptown, Ultrasone HFI-580, V-Moda LP, and maybe the Audio Technica Pro 700 MkII, are some you should take a look at. The Pro 700 is a bit over budget and the LP is a bit under.
