I am interested in buying a PC - Gaming Headset I can use to play steam games.

My budget is between $100-$200.

I am looking for a high quality audio, and somewhat durable headset with a mic.

Please recommend me some =)

How stylish are the Pros anyway? They don't even look that cool. There are too many jagged edges that lead to nowhere.

You're at kind of a catch 22 here. Stylish headphones tend to not be very resolving because all the money goes to the design. But there are a few potential new options, but none of us have heard any of them (well as far as I know) so you're going to have to look at reviews and such. There's the Denon D600, which seems to have a lot of bass but sounds pretty okay otherwise and there's the V-Moda M100, but that won't be out for a bit. But as far as things I've heard myself, the Audio Technica ES10 is fantastic for what it is, and would be a huge upgrade to anything you have. My only issue is that its midrange could be a bit better, but I'm comparing them to headphones that cost far more than it. There's also the Sennheiser Momentum, which I've only got to hear for a little bit. I like it a lot, but it's kind of like a less exciting, smoother version of the ES10 with less bass and a much different midrange. The AT has a certain coloration that makes vocals sound a bit hyped, while the Sennheiser sounds the slightest bit distant to me. But both of them annihilate the Beats.

I would recommend the Ultrasone Pro 900, but I'm pretty confident you'll be much more attracted to the V-Moda LP2. Way under budget, but I'm willing to say it's probably worth saving the money for you.

Just bought a pair of DR-ZX701IPs for my sister. $58 US including shipping. Hope she likes them, as they're a birthday present. How would you guys compare these to the TBSE1s?

I wish I could tell you from experience because I have heard both, but neither well enough to make any conclusions. Ishcabible might be able to help. All I remember is that I thought the ZX700 highs sounded funky.

I'm more of a laid back dude (Well, usually.) and I'd pick the Sony over the relatively bright Kosses every time.

A pair of these: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] are in the mail. I'm secretly hoping they're good so I can make phallic jokes.
