AT's also releasing an updated ES7 and the ESW11LTD. The latter is especially intriguing.

And I definitely wouldn't buy an Ety for any type of EDM. Even though the ER4 sounds kinda like the SA5000, which is my favorite EDM headphone, the magic's just not there. And I wouldn't know about the GR07, but from what I've read, they seem like they'd be too boring, but I can't say anything concrete about them.

$50 is very little for a DJ headphone. AKG K81 and K518 are some of your options. I'd recommend stretching your budget.

Budget: Up to $150 maybe even $200

Music preferences: Rap, making beats and songs

Type/form-factor: Preferably over ear like the kind Dr. Dre has in op picture

Open or closed: either

Listening from: Laptop

Details: I make beats with FL studio and I need to invest in some high quality headphones, I will be getting an electric piano soon and I want to be able to hear everything while making a beat to hearing the beat and my voice as I rap over it. Also if you could I would like wireless ones. One more thing, if you could link me a few options with different price ranges incase I want to go cheaper or higher! Thanks so much!

Do you absolutely need wireless? Wireless tends to be significantly worse unless you pay much more than your budget. The Sennheiser RS220 and Sony MDR-1BT are two that I've read to be great wireless headphones, but the cheaper ones that I've actually heard all suck.

So do you want something neutral...? I don't really understand what you want. You want to hear everything for mixing, so that leads me to want to recommend something neutral, but for rap, neutral wouldn't be the best for playback.

2nd request by me:

I need a pair of headphones for my iPhone 4S. I'd prefer for them to be on or over ear, no earbuds. I prefer high bass if possible. My budget is $30. Also, they can't be overly bulky as I'll be using them at school. A fold over would be nice as well. I know it's a bit much but I'll let you be the judge. BTW, the last headphones you recommended to me have worked great! Also, do you know of any Bluetooth headphones that are good for a bit over my budget? I doubt there are any really good ones for $30 anyways.

I already have a microphone I just want something for playback and it doesn't have to be wireless I just feel it might make it less cluttered

Buy some decent open headphones and bring your player along. Audio systems for vehicles just aren't worth it.

Can you find a way to add $10 to get the AKG K81? I've also heard good things about the JVC S400.

So do you want a neutral or bassy sound? If you want neutral, the AKG K271 is fantastic (I like them more than the more expensive K550). If you want bassy, then I'd probably go with the Beyerdynamic DT770.

Isn't that illegal? And in my [friends'] experience, $1,300 won't get you as far as you want. A $1,300 system, which includes all the damping you'll need, will sound about as good as a $130 headphone. If you're fine with that, just say the word; I can probably help.
