Shure SE215 is great for metal, but a bit veiled for jazz. Do you want something bassy or neutral?

Daggett wrote Which genres you'll be listening to: Dubstep,Ska.(<--You could say rock for that one.

What kind you want: Doesn't matter. I like both.

Whether you want open or closed headphones: Any would do

What you are listening from: Zune

What's The Budget: anything to $60 (USD)

The AKG K518 is bassy enough for dubstep and bright enough for ska

Yes

Do they need to isolate well?
Yes if possible

Is durability a big priority?
Yes

Is bass more important than vocals? If so, then possibly the V-Moda Crossfade LP2 or AKG K181DJ if you want some vocals.

Also, I got the T50P today. They sound like pants.
I would rather have something bassy.

The Klipsch Image X10 is $90 and probably your best bet: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

Sure, I'll root you again.

I'm starting to enjoy hardstyle with the treble a little toned down on my PRO900s. I'm thinking M80 from V-moda would do.
The M80 is rather close to neutral, so if that's not your thing, HD25-1-II, HFI580, PRO700MKII

Are there any decent headphones that can be used to mix tracks on logic/cubase/reason that are fairly cheap, like 50? I don't want to pay a lot because I'm going to be taking them around and about. Going to be listening from Macs and standard PC's.
I have the Sennheiser HD 280 Pro's in mind. But the bass level's might be bad for mixing
EDIT: The currency is pounds. The sign didn't work...

The Koss DJ100 sounds like what you're looking for. Also the 280 Pro is junk and 110+ GBP. Why are you looking at them if you're budget's 50?

They have good reviews for studio use and it's likely I could get them cheaper and if not I could probably stretch if I believe the money is worth it. Thanks for the recommendation of the Koss headhones though

Even for studio use, the HD280 is mediocre. They only thing the can do well is isolate sound. The sound they make however is worse than $5 Koss KSC75s.

Oh I see :L So should I set my heart on the Koss DJ100's?
