Ultrasone HFI580 or Beyerdynamic Custom One Pro.

Well yes, for most things, speakers can be better, if you both pick the right ones and have an optimal room and placement. But speakers may not necessarily do microdetail better if compared to headphones of the same price.

I want some super heavy, more boomy bass . I heard for the price the Ultrasone Pro 900's were good. Is this true?

Xeport 5010 is under your budget but about as good as anything bassy in your budget.

Most bass or clearest bass? They're two completely different entities unless you're willing to pay at least $1000.

For 500 and most bass, there's the Ultrasone PRO900.

Also, guided to r00t, I snagged a like new K702 for $140. Now I just need a Grado, Symphones drivers, and some wood-working tools to complete my headphone setup.

The upper-mid level doesn't have very many very bassy headphones. The only two I can think of are the Denon D600 and PRO900. If I remember correctly (I finally heard the PRO900 and didn't love it, but don't remember quite how they sound), the PRO900 had less mids and stronger midbass while the D600 had more subbass. For $300 and bassy, sure why not? But if they're your first headphones, I suggest getting something cheaper because the difference between the $150 Ultrasone HFI780 and PRO900 isn't very dramatic unless you train your ears.

$140 for a K701? That's great

PRO900 like Ishcabible said, there's also the V-moda M100. Of course there's always the XB500. Way too low for your budget, but it does have the most bass.

My budget is up to 350$ US dollars.
I listen to rap rock and some dubstep.
They have to be over the ear headphones please.
I read on your section for closed and open but still dont really understand it so just pick
what you think is the better one for my situation.
I will be listening from my computer all the time.
They don't need to be portable because they will never leave my house
Durability is a small concern i want something that can handle it if i drop the headset it wont break.
Thank you for your time and what not in helping me find the perfect headset.
