Good headphones. And honestly, he cares about looks just as much as sound quality. So a cool looking pair would be a plus.

Xeport 5010 is the most versatile IEM under $75 that I've tried. I haven't tried most of the under $75 market, but I can't imagine anything would be be a dramatic improvement to them until about the $100 bracket.

idk if this matters but my cat always **** chews on my headphones so if u know of any phones that combat this then thatd be great (not that neccesary tho)
