Because of the terrible track quality of rap music, a budget of $150 is way overkill. It's a bit ridiculous to listen to poorly mastered music with expensive headphones. I'd shoot for about half of that or $100 as a stretch.
Full-size: Sony XB700. The XB series is the go-to for budget bass cans. If you can wait for the XB1000s, that would be great too. They are very expensive and rare right now since they are being imported from Japan, but eventually they will be released here at a reasonable price.
On-ear: Koss Portapro. It's almost impossible to beat these under $100. They're bassy enough, too.
IEMs: Klipsch Image S4. Very bassy, good overall quality. Good choice for rap. Comply foam tips will compliment these well, too. Monster Turbines (Copper or even Gold if you want better quality at a price) are also a good choice here. The Lil' Jamz are decent and indestructible, too. I still recommend avoiding Monster as a company at all costs outside of their IEMs. The Meelectronics and Brainwavz line should also be on your radar. They cover a wide price range.

ALVARADO03 wrote You should get some beats or bose headphones maybe even A*star ear buds from Astro!
Greetings friend,
I would just like to make a few remarks about your suggestions. First of all, you just gave 3 headphones for a broad spectrum of music. For these to be able to perform admirably across all genres, they would have to be quite a good pair of phones. However, Bose, Monster Beats and Astro earbuds are all quite frankly trash for what they are priced. You are actually buying a brand name, not any sort of quality.
TL;DR NO. NO. NO.
Happy travels,
Zim

What are your suggestions? I'm currently using stock Apple earbuds, and they work pretty fine, but the cords are mangled and jagged, and I don't think they'll last much longer. I've bought at least 10 pairs of Apple earbuds.
Sounds like you need some serious durability, especially for the cable. There are very few ways to make IEM cables durable, unfortunately. If you want a lifetime warranty, the Koss Portapros would be your best bet, but they are on-ear. They would be good for your kind of music, too.
Another solution would be to get IEMs with a replaceable cable, like Shure's SE series. These are outside of your budget, though.
There's no way to guarantee a cable will last, and build quality is usually most important at the actual headphone. I'd look at the Brainwavz M2, which fits your music style pretty well and is very well built. Another option would be the Monster Lil' Jamz. Not nearly as good as the M2s, but built like a tank. Not sure of the cable, though. Good luck.
Thank you for the suggestions, but they are all in-ear, and I despise in-ear headphones.
If I bumped by budget to $100, what could you suggest me?

Since dubstep is considered bassy, much like rap, I think my recommendations wil hold up nicely. They perform well in both areas.
Since you have the XB500s, which are not bad at all, you might consider waiting for the Sony XB1000s. Currently they are exclusive to Japan and must be imported, but it won't be long until they come to the States. I don't know the timeframe, though. If you like the way the 500s, sound, you'll really like the 1000s. They should share the same sound signature but have much improved overall quality!

Greetings friend,
[ Register or Signin to view external links. ] Pro700mkII. They won't have as much bass as your sonys, but the quality of the mids and highs will be immensely better. I myself own a pair, and I find the bass to have impact and a full feel. Highly recommended.
Good luck,
Zim

The Klipsch Image S4 or S5 rugged would suit your music taste well and give you some good durability. I own some S4s, and the cable is small, but pretty hardy and the right-angle jack is great for avoiding damage. I can't recommend Moster Turbines since they are known to be a bit fragile, but it's good to have as an option.
EDIT: D'oh, I'm trying to answer these way too fast. Sorry about that. I responded again.
