Audeze wrote Where are the LCD-3s and HD800s on this list?
did you get "called out" for not wearing a specific brand?
A list? Where?
And the reason I have not recommended either of those glorious cans is because nobody outside of Head-Fi can justify it. If someone posts the right budget, I'll get them an LCD-2 (more likely than the LCD-3) rig. It just has not happened yet.

Budget: Just as cheap as possible really & GBP
Music preference: I'll be listening to pretty much anything but mainly Rap, and Dubstep/Drum 'n Bass.
Type / form factor and portability: No preference really.
Open/Closed (Not for in-ear): Closed ones would be preferred.
Source(s): Ipod, Phone and Laptop.
Thanks for any help dude.

If you want cheap in-ear headphones, the Meelectronics M6 are a great option. They're an incredible value, and should do well for your music tastes.
I'd also recommend a pair of Koss KSC75s. They're dirt cheap (some $15 in the US) and sound incredible for the price. They're also pretty bassy, so you should like them.
I wouldn't recommend any over-ear headphones (full-size) at this budget since you'd get really crappy quality.

Budget: Under 200 USD if possible
Genres: Rock (Pink Floyd, Incubus, Rise Against), Rap (Nas, Aesop Rock, Jay-Z), Pop (The Beatles, Third Eye Blind, The Wonder Years), and some House/Dubstep as well as Acoustic
Form Factor: Over-ear or on-ear, definitely portable
Open/Closed: Probably closed just to avoid sound leakage otherwise it's unimportant
Source: Cowon S9 and iPhone
Right now I'm considering either the V-Moda M-80 or Senn HD25-1 II for their versatility but am not sure if they will provide enough bass for my liking. I've also looked at the ATH M50 but am convinced it will be too unwieldy for on the go usage. Am I looking in the right direction or are there any other suggestions you might have? Thanks in advance!

Both of these sound a HECK of a lot better than their cost or looks would imply. I'm upgrading to some Ultrasone Pro 900s soon, but I'm still going to pick up a pair of KSC75s. Maybe more as gifts if the price goes down. I've seen them around $8 here!

It's pretty easy to believe that, isn't it? But the problem is, you're wrong. You can get MUCH better headphones in every aspect for a fraction of the price.
Also, I covered this in the OP. Read it.
