It really depends on you're opinion. Jtags can be used for several things. Homebrew, free , and modifying games. Have you ever used one or know anything about them? Most twelve year olds seem to think their pointless because they cannot go online and host their tenth prestige lobbies, but I'm not trying to offend anyone who disagrees. Anyways, if you don't know much about them, I would be more then happy to explain.

Absolutely! A common misconception is that JTAGs are useless, just because they can't go online. That's absolutely not true. JTAGs still serve many purposes. For one, you can still system link (in most CoDs). You can also run emulators, install custom dashboard skins, install games to the HDD and never need the disc again, be the first to get games (such as Gears of War 3, or Modern Warfare 2 and Black Ops ((they were all leaked to JTAGs and DevKits)). JTAGs are truly an amazing piece in any true gamer's armory of consoles.

Yeah i think. There still fun even though you can't host online. But the only reason im keeping mine is that i think when mw3 comes out you will be able to system link your self. Maybe.

I think that I Falcon would be a good jtag, or if you can afford a good jasper. They are the newest (they are still a few years old) jtags, so they red ring as easily. And NEVER update, I would recommend getting the R6T3 resistors removed along with a 12v fan mod.
