There has been speculation on why left 4 Dead 3 will not be coming out, and i have the reason right here: Valve can't count to three.

Think about this for a second: Half life 2. Portal 2. left 4 Dead 2. Team Fortress 2. Day of Defeat 2. Half Life Episode 2. And soon to be, DOTA 2. I think i've proved a valid point...

Just because other game series stopped on their second game in the series, that does not mean at all that L4D will follow suit. Unless you are a developer of Valve, then you have no valid points whatsoever and anything said about the announcement of a L4D3 is pure speculation. I am not saying this in the defense and belief it will come out (though I would love to see it happen), but rather out of logical debate.

well l4d was their best series in my opinion so i dont see why they wouldnt
