Dude, I know how you feel. I live in Connecticut so I am scared too! What i'm going to do (Since I live in a two story house; floor 1 my grandparents and floor 2 my family and pets; i will be bringing them all to my floor becuase my floor is underground). We are also going out to buy flashlights, batteries, etc. I have this REALLY TALL HUGE FAT TREE in my backyard. It is quite close to the house, and it is about 120 years old and TOTALLY rotten. So, that has a 45% chance of falling on my house, but all the money we need will come from my autographed baseball from the 50s & 60s with over 20 signatures on it from Mickey Mantle and Casey Stengel to Whitey Ford and Yogi Berra. Ball worth about $12,000 dollars. So, we should be good. But anyway, don't worry, it will pass, depending on what category you get (I am getting 1-2 possibly 3)to how much damage you may get. So, thats all. It's hit or miss. You should be ok. Just pack a backpack with as much stuff you need (clothes, shoes, valueable stuff, pictures, etc.) or pack a bigger bag. DO NOT FORGET TO PACK YOUR MONEY!! (My school once had a fire in my science classroom and I left my backpack in there with $50 dollars in it. I WAS FRIGGIN' PISSED!!! Then I learned to leave my wallet in my pocket)So, it'll pass.

It is supposed to hit Philly as well. I'm in my office building right now. They said around this weekend. We are not in much of a zone for hurricanes though, so it will the speed will decrease greatly or it will just stop before getting to us.
But man how about that earthquake. They said it put a large crack on the Washington Memorial. The big spire object in D.C.

Front Royal, Virginia here, it might not hit me as bad because I'm more inland than the coast, but the sky looks nice to me. ;)
