So I have heard that you have to have done the other easter eggs on call of the dead etc... to get it. Can anyone tell me if you do or not?

ive heard alot saying different things i think if the person who is richtofen and has done the e,e on previous map will have the rod and it doesnt matter about the others ...
so if you start a game and no one has the rod , quit
