Regardless if this is "legit or not"...having your JTAG online really only benefits in two ways...

1. You can recover accounts on MW2 to achieve unlock all and 10th prestige. Thats about it in terms of modding. Yes, you can run some better COD4 and WaW patches, but thats about it. There are alot of people who are replying with "YAY LOBBIES ARE BACK!"...no they wouldn't be. The only ones who could join your game would be others w/ an online JTAG (I'm speaking of MW2). If you want to play with others using mods, you can already do this now w/ Xlink Kai.

2. You could now play backups on XBL w/o having to swap discs. That would be the only real benefit that I could see that would make having an online JTAG worth anything. This would also result in a lot more account/console bans seeing as if your profile is ever caught running XeXMenu or emulators (SNES for example), these show up in your recent games list. I'm sure if anyone ever files a complaint on your gamertag...the box would be banned in a heartbeat if they saw those games being run on your profile.

To the OP: Congrats if you did it. I'm not going to say fake or legit, because who knows. That's not my concern.

Everyone seems to think having your JTAG online again means the "glorious return to online mods"...it just isn't that simple anymore. MW2 is patched to where others can't join your game, BO modding would still result in a console ban from the BO servers, and COD4 and WaW modding would just be simply more advanced than it already is...

Other than the ultimate "lazy man" modification of not having to stand up to swap discs to play games anymore...I just don't see the benefit of having an online JTAG anymore.
