This is amzingly easy to do for people good at soldering, only problem for me is the money for all the equipment. I mean seriously though, why is a simple cable about 50$

Yea thats what im saying. You only need the cable to program the chip once so im just gonna wait until a mod chip is developed for this.

Well to be honest this is the simplest way to do it the chip and socket are needed so there porbly wont be a cheaper way

how long do you thing it will take for Microsoft to make a new hardware revision of the slim
also will the new dash update 2bl to prevent the exploit from working like they did with the smc hack

tmbinc said there is no way to hack the xbox after 8xxx dash from a software approach. THis new method is a hardware mod forcing the CPU clock to run slower. There is no way to fix it unless they come out with a new system.

I'm confused on the part that says to cut the 5 and 6 cable from the DVD Drive, what does it mean by that?
