You can not downgrade a dashboard at all it blows an efuse and the new slim hack is far from the current state of jtags it is very unreliable and hard to do that is a completely new hardware hack then has been seen before trying to compare the slim hack to the old one saying then how come they downgraded it on that is stupid. The slim has different hardware then the fat which means that what they do for that does not apply to the fats

i will most likely get flamed for this but im telling the truth a while back i saw a user post in jtag discussion topic that he found a disk that reset his xbox back to the original dash he made a copy of the disk and that word too so he decided he would release it however people commented saying it doesn't matter as the e-fuse is still blown so even if it is on the blades dash it wont be jtagable, he also realized that if he leaked it then people would downgrade dash and sell xboxs with blown efuses on ebay and on ttg as jtagable with old dash when they weren't so in the end he did not release.
if you think im lying look through the jtag discussion previous posts but i saw the post just before christmas 2010 so you will have to look a long way back :L

basically all the disk done was reset your xbox to the blades dashboard the very first dash however you could not connect to live without updating it and it wouldnt make a xbox which previously had a dash over 7317 jtagable cause the e-fuse had already been blown.

the post i saw was real i am not lying about seeing it but wether or not the person who created the post was telling the truth or lying is another matter cause i cant remember if they showed any video proof of the disk downgrading the dash.
